LCALens

Making carbon accounting more accessible, transparent and actionable.

Carbon accounting should not be limited to organisations that can afford complex systems and expensive consultancy engagements.

Our mission

To make reliable greenhouse gas accounting, environmental data management and professional reporting accessible through intuitive, transparent technology.

Our vision

One workspace where emissions calculations, data management, environmental analysis and reporting come together, and where every figure can be explained.

Why we are building LCALens

We are developing a unified platform for sustainability professionals, businesses, consultants and researchers who need environmental information they can understand and trace. Too often a footprint arrives as a single number with no way to check how it was made. We want the opposite: a number you can open up, all the way to the publisher's file.

Our approach to environmental data

Factors enter the library only from official files we can cite, from documented derivations of those files, or from your own evidence. We record the file's checksum, the sheet and the row for every value.

Scientific transparency

Every result shows the factor, its boundary, its greenhouse gas basis and its source. Derived factors keep the equation and inputs so anyone can re-run them and get the same number.

Technology and innovation

AI helps us find sources, extract candidate values and draft text. It never decides what is verified: a person does, and the database enforces that rule.

Our commitment to accuracy

We would rather show an empty result than a guessed one. When a factor is missing or unreviewed, the calculator says so plainly.

Who we serve

Product capabilities

Today: a reviewed emission factor library, nine source-backed calculators across Scope 1, 2 and 3, organisations, saved and locked calculations, and PDF export. Corporate inventories, reporting studios, supplier data collection and life cycle assessment are in development, and we list each one only once it works.
